MEDICAL REHABILITATION TECHNICIAN
Location: Blantyre
Workforce Recruitment Services is recruiting on behalf of Nditha Rehabilitation Center for a Medical Rehabilitation Technician to support pediatric and adult patients with neurological and developmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for children and adults with neurological/developmental conditions
- Implement treatment programs for pediatric conditions
- Conduct speech and language therapy assessments
- Provide speech and language treatment
- Educate caregivers on home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate patient records and therapy notes
- Ensure therapy equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Medical Rehabilitation with over 2 years of work experience
- Experience with pediatric rehabilitation is an added advantage
- Knowledge of basic rehabilitation techniques and patient handling
- Knowledge in speech and language therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and child-friendly attitude
- Ability to work under supervision and in a team
