LOAN OFFICERS AT ACAFIN - ACADES FINANCE


LOAN OFFICER

LOCATION: LILONGWE


Key Responsibilities

- Conduct interviews with loan applicants to gather comprehensive financial and personal information.

- Assess applicants' creditworthiness by reviewing financial backgrounds, references, credit history, and income verification.

- Prepare and complete all loan documentation accurately and efficiently.

- Recommend approval or rejection of loan applications based on thorough credit assessments and institutional guidelines.

- Promote ACAFIN's credit and loan products to prospective clients.

- Maintain, review, and regularly update loan and credit files.

- Prepare and manage statements for overdue accounts.

- Negotiate repayment terms with clients and ensure timely collections.

- Conduct follow-ups and recover loans as they fall due to maintain portfolio quality.


Qualifications

- Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

- 2-3 years of experience working with a microfinance institution.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.

- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and microfinance management software.

- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

- Valid motorcycle riding license.
