Shop Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team at KWA REJO Convenient Shop in Blantyre. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining high merchandising standards, and supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the shop.
Minimum Requirements
- Age: 22–30 years
- Gender: Female
- Qualifications: Minimum of a Certificate in Business Management or a related field
- Experience: Prior experience in a similar retail role will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Deliver professional and courteous service, respond promptly to customer inquiries, and effectively resolve complaints.
- Sales & Transactions: Accurately process sales transactions, manage returns and exchanges, and actively promote products to drive revenue.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Time Management: Prioritize and complete assigned tasks efficiently within set timelines.
- Cash & Record Management: Handle cash responsibly, maintain accurate sales records, and ensure proper reconciliation procedures.
- Stock Control & Merchandising: Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies, restock shelves, and maintain attractive product displays.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
