Simbeko Investments (S.I.) is hiring a Lodge Receptionist to manage front desk operations and ensure high standards of customer service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and bookings
- Handle guest queries and requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records and lodge systems (guest profiles, payments, etc.)
- Process payments, handle cash, and manage petty cash
- Coordinate with housekeeping, kitchen, and other departments for seamless service
- Provide information about lodge facilities, local attractions, and services
- Handle guest complaints, provide feedback, and escalate issues when needed
- Ensure high standards of customer service and lodge presentation
- Assist with event planning and coordination (meetings, weddings, etc.)
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive guest information securely
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field from a recognized institution
- Must be fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience working as a Lodge Receptionist
