SIMBEKO INVESTMENTS – LODGE RECEPTIONIST

Location: Nchalo

Reporting to: Lodge Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Simbeko Investments (S.I.) is hiring a Lodge Receptionist to manage front desk operations and ensure high standards of customer service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and bookings
  • Handle guest queries and requests promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate records and lodge systems (guest profiles, payments, etc.)
  • Process payments, handle cash, and manage petty cash
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, kitchen, and other departments for seamless service
  • Provide information about lodge facilities, local attractions, and services
  • Handle guest complaints, provide feedback, and escalate issues when needed
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and lodge presentation
  • Assist with event planning and coordination (meetings, weddings, etc.)
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive guest information securely

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate in Hospitality Management or related field from a recognized institution
  • Must be fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience working as a Lodge Receptionist
