About the Role
Liwiro Finance Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about financial management. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Performing various analysis and reconciliation of accounts.
Preparing a variety of reports to update management on progress made in various areas.
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end reports.
Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and supporting audit preparations.
Calculating, preparing and processing bills, invoices, inventory, reports, account statements, purchase orders, payroll and other financial statements.
Reconciliation of records with other administrative units.
Verifying the accuracy of invoices, bills and other accounting documents or records.
Managing petty cash and its records
Carrying out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office (Excel, Word)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and organizational skills
High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
