The company has an urgent requirement for the following vacancies tenable at its Rumphi Project Site:

Job Title: Tipper Operator (Dump Truck Driver) (1)

Nature of Contract: One Year Fixed Term

Duty Station: Rumphi

Reporting to: Site Manager / Logistics Administrator

Department: Workshop

Job Summary

The Tipper Operator is responsible for safely operating a tipper (dump truck) to transport materials such as sand, gravel, soil and stones to and from construction or mining sites. The role requires adherence to road safety regulations, proper handling of loads and basic vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a tipper truck to transport construction materials

Load and offload materials safely and efficiently

Inspect vehicle daily (fuel, oil, tyres, brakes, lights)

Ensure proper covering and securing of loads

Follow traffic laws and site safety regulations

Maintain delivery records and logbooks

Report faults or accidents immediately

Keep vehicle clean and in good condition

Coordinate with supervisors and loaders

Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications & Experience

Valid Malawian driver’s licence (Class C or equivalent)

Secondary education completed

2–5 years experience operating heavy duty trucks

Good knowledge of road safety rules

Ability to perform basic vehicle checks

Physically fit and responsible
