POSITION: SALES REPRESENTATIVE (3 POSITIONS)


Location: Remote / Work-from-home with own smartphone







JOB SUMMARY

Chima Online Academy is a digital secondary school designed specifically for Malawian students preparing for the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination.

We serve Forms 3 and 4 students, particularly those enrolled in Open and Distance Learning (ODEL) programs who lack access to quality, structured online tuition.


Unlike traditional tutoring or YouTube videos, we offer:

Live interactive classes via Moodle

Recorded video lessons

Virtual science laboratory sessions

MSCE past papers and e-books

Affordable, flexible packages 

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving student enrollment through direct outreach, cold calling, and consistent follow-up.

This is a performance-based role designed for individuals who are confident, persuasive, and results-driven, with a strong focus on achieving enrollment targets within a 3-month campaign period.


Key Responsibilities

Lead Engagement & Cold Calling

Make 50–80 calls daily to prospective students (leads provided)

Clearly present the academy’s (k15,000 & K30,000) packages

Invite prospects to attend free live classes if need arises 

Follow-Up & Conversion

Follow up with students and parents to drive enrollment

Handle objections and close sales effectively

Achieve a minimum target of 10 enrolled students per month

CRM & Reporting

Record all calls, interactions, and outcomes in the company CRM

Track progress against targets and maintain accurate records


Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (advantage)

Fluent in English and Chichewa

Strong communication and persuasion skills

Self-motivated and target-driven

Comfortable with cold calling and handling rejection

Basic knowledge of WhatsApp and spreadsheets

Must own a smartphone with reliable internet access


Working Hours

9am – 1pm PM (Monday to Friday)


Remuneration (Commission-Based)

Commission per Student K5000x2 months Payment

e.g 30 students= k300,000

Payments made within 7 days of student payment
