POSITION: 30T TRUCK DRIVERS 

Location: Lilongwe 

OVERVIEW 

Shayona Cement Corporation in Lilongwe is urgently seeking for a skilled and efficient 30T Truck Drivers under its Logistics Department

The person will be required to perform the following duties but not limited:

Safely operate 30T truck and ensure timely delivery of consignments

Conduct daily pre-trip & post trip inspections and complete truck checklist

Secure loads according to Corporation SOPs to prevent damage/loss in transit

Report defects immediately to Workshop and ensure truck is roadworthy at all times.

Maintain accurate trip sheets, fuel records and delivery notes.

Comply with Roads Traffic Act, Corporation Driving Standards and Defensive driving practices

Ensure Cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned truck.

Work closely with Logistics Superiors for route planning and scheduling

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Applicants should be in possession of

Malawi Junior Certificate

Valid Malawi Professional Driver’s License Class C1 or EC with no pending endorsements

Minimum 4 years’ verifiable experience driving 30T trucks Reference checks will be done.

Clean driving record

Certificate in Defensive Driving from recognised institution – added advantage

Physically fit and able to handle loading/offloading supervision and long distances

Basic Literacy – able to read, write and complete trip sheets in English

No criminal record

Personal attributes

High level of integrity and honesty with Corporation assets

Punctual reliable and able to work under minimum supervision.

Excellent understanding of vehicle care
