Monitoring, Evaluation And Learning (mel) Officer

The African Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership (AFAP) is a leading non-profit social enterprise focused on strengthening agricultural input systems and agribusiness markets across Africa.

AFAP works to improve smallholder farmer access to quality agricultural inputs, financing, technologies, and markets through market-driven solutions, strategic partnerships, policy engagement, and enterprise development.

Our work spans fertilizer market development, agribusiness strengthening, agrodealer development, financial inclusion, and sustainable food systems transformation.

The MEL Officer will lead the coordination and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, data management, and learning systems across AFAP Malawi’s programmes.

The role is central to ensuring the collection of high-quality data, supporting evidence-based decision-making, strengthening programme accountability, and demonstrating impact to donors, partners, and stakeholders.
