Word Alive Ministries International through its Commission for Relief and Development (WACRAD) Invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced persons and with passion and a sense of calling to fill the following vacant position;

Tile of post: Driver

Grade: SS2

Duration of Contract: 3 years

Location: Blantyre

Qualifications

• MSCE

• Valid and dean driver’s licence

• At least 3 years in similar position

• Experience in working with Faith Based Organizations an added advantage

Personal Attributes

• Dedicated Christian of sound standing in their local church

• Good oral and witting communication skills.

• Proven record of integrity and accountability

• Good knowledge of road networks and traffic regulations

• Able to learn from others

• Ability to work flexible hours when required

• Time management and organizational skill

• Self-starter and team player

Duties

• Provide safe and timely transportation of staff, visitors, and authorized persons.

• Deliver and collect documents, parcels, and supplies as assigned.

• Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, fuelled, and in good working condition at all times.

• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report faults or maintenance needs promptly:

• Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and fuel records.

• Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and organizational transport policies.

• Safeguard the vehicle and any items being transported.

• Support administrative and logistical activities as assigned.

Remuneration

Remuneration in line with the Church’s Salary Structure will be offered to the successful candidate.
