Centenary Bank is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and competent individuals for the position of Strategy Manager.

🔹 JOB PURPOSE

The Strategy Manager will lead the Bank’s strategic planning, formulation, and execution processes aimed at driving sustainable growth, operational efficiency, profitability, and market expansion.

🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

✔ Lead development and implementation of Bank-wide strategies

✔ Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives

✔ Monitor strategic objectives and recommend corrective actions

✔ Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and digital innovations

✔ Translate strategy into detailed implementation plans with KPIs

✔ Coordinate departmental operating plans aligned to Bank strategy

✔ Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation

✔ Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to staff

✔ Conduct competitor and market analysis

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Banking & Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration

✔ Postgraduate qualification (MBA/MSc) is an added advantage

✔ Professional certifications such as PMP, CFA, Balanced Scorecard, or Risk Management are desirable

✔ Strong quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and business planning skills

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

✔ Minimum 5 years’ experience at Manager or Senior Officer level in financial services

✔ Experience in strategy formulation, business planning, and performance management

✔ Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

✔ Proven experience in cost optimization and efficiency improvement

✔ Ability to translate strategy into measurable actions and KPIs
