Overview
Pearl Pharmacy is inviting applications from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to fill the position of Pharmacist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional pharmaceutical services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering excellent customer care.
Job Description
- Dispense prescription and non-prescription medicines accurately and professionally.
- Provide patients with guidance on the safe and effective use of medications.
- Ensure compliance with PMRA regulations and pharmacy standards.
- Maintain proper storage, handling, and inventory control of pharmaceutical products.
- Monitor stock levels and expiry dates of medicines.
- Keep accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
- Offer professional healthcare advice and medication counseling to customers.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification.
- Must be registered with the Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (PMRA).
- Valid practicing licence.
- Experience in a community pharmacy setting will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and ethical practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
