POSITION: DIRECT SALES OFFICER – CIVIL SERVANT LOAN PRODUCT

Location: Kasungu and Mchinji

Liwiro Finance Limited is a growing duly licensed non-deposit taking microfinance institution regulated by the Reserve Bank of Malawi, dedicated to providing affordable and accessible digital financial solutions to individuals and small and medium enterprises in Malawi.

Reports To: Country Sales Manager / Chief Executive Officer

Job Type: Commission Based

JOB PURPOSE

The Sales Officer is responsible for directly identifying, engaging, and securing eligible civil servants to achieve individual loan disbursement and customer acquisition targets. Operating within an assigned territory, the role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, managing the end-to-end loan application process, and strictly adhering to company policies and regulatory compliance standards.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out Market Campaigns and recruit new customers within Kasungu or Mchinji

Identifying new customers and assist the clients in filling of the Online loan application forms and all related documents

Selling of Government Payroll loans to the Civil Servants and raising awareness on company products

Acting as a liaison between Liwiro Finance Limited and Civil Servants and submit them for disbursement

Assist in compiling of all the loan application documents from the customers and submit them online

Research market trends, competitors' activities, for other competitor's financial services

Any other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

MSCE holder, Diploma and Newly Graduates in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting or any related qualification will have an added advantage

Experience in any financial institution will be an added advantage

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and independently

High self-esteem with confidence

Must be a Malawian citizen staying within either Kasungu or Mchinji
