POSITION: HEAD OF RETAIL AND FINANCIAL SERVICES 

Location: Blantyre

OVERVIEW 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Malawi Posts Corporation to fill the following vacancies:

Position: Head of Retail and Financial Services

Grade: M3

Location: MPC Head Office

Reporting to : Postmaster General

Job Purpose

To manage and enhance growth and development of retail and financial services in line with the Corporation’s objectives

Duties / Responsibilities

Overseeing all retail and financial services throughout the country.

Providing support to all retail outlets throughout the country by ensuring that all machines, electronic gadgets are repaired rapidly.

Accounting for all stocks and revenue generated from retail services.

Liaising with Marketing Section to ensure that information about product and services range, and sales promotional materials are conspicuously displayed in all outlets.

Reviewing prices for all retail products and services in liaison with the Marketing Section.

Conducting snap-checks at regular intervals at all service outlets to detect fraudulent transactions and level of compliance to operations and accounting procedures.

Liaising with marketing to ensure that customer complaints and claims are treated as a priority and resolved to customers’ satisfaction.

Reconciling sales reports with regions before submission to accounts department for payment to suppliers.

Preparing monthly reports and monitoring the same for the Regions

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor of Business Management, Economics or Marketing, Management or Business Information Systems

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Banking operations
