POSITION: HUMANITIES TEACHER

Location: Ekwendeni Ng’ongo, Northern Region (School Premises)

OVERVIEW

YANA Secondary School is seeking qualified and committed teachers in Humanities, Sciences, and Languages to join its team in Ekwendeni Ng’ongo.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Education.

• Registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi.

• 2–3 years’ teaching experience at secondary school level.

• Training/experience in Special Needs Education is an added advantage.

• Applicants should be from the Northern Region and willing to relocate/live within school premises.

DUTIES:

• Teach assigned subject(s) in line with the secondary school curriculum.

• Plan and deliver engaging, learner centred lessons.

• Assess learner performance and provide timely feedback.

• Maintain accurate academic records.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.

• Support learners’ academic, social, and personal development.

• Participate in examinations, school programmes, meetings, and co curricular activities.
