POSITION: PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER

MVULA Piped Water Limited (MPWL) is a private utility company providing innovative water infrastructure solutions across Malawi. Through centralized solar-powered water treatment plants and its Utility-as-a-Service (UaaS) and Agriculture-as-a-Service (AaaS) models, the company is transforming rural communities and promoting sustainable development.

MVULA Piped Water Limited is inviting applications from qualified, ambitious, and high-performing individuals to fill the position of Public Relations Officer (PRO). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies, managing media and community relations, creating engaging content, and supporting the company's growth and expansion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement public relations campaigns to promote the company's products and services.
• Manage and grow the company's social media platforms.
• Build and maintain relationships with local communities and key stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute company events.
• Create high-quality content for the company website and social media channels.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media relations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong networking and relationship management skills.
• A passion for public relations and making a positive social impact.
