POSITION: SECURITY GUARDS
ABOUT THE ROLE
Blantyre Sports Club is urgently seeking qualified female candidates to fill multiple Security Guard positions in Blantyre.
IMPORTANT: Slots for male applicants have already been filled. This recruitment is for female applicants only.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must:
• Be female.
• Have an MSCE certificate plus basic security training or certification.
• Have at least 2 years' experience working with renowned security companies.
• Be proficient in English and Chichewa.
• Have a clean criminal record.
• Be physically and mentally fit.
• Have basic computer skills, particularly MS Word and Excel — an added advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Patrol premises, monitor access points and enforce security rules.
• Conduct thorough searches and screenings of persons and vehicles.
• Monitor CCTV and security equipment and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Verify identification of visitors, staff and contractors.
• Document and report security incidents, hazards and suspicious activities.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, shift handovers and incident reports.
• Support fire safety and evacuation procedures.
• Assist with basic investigations when required.
