JOB DESCRIPTION

St Lawrence Girls Catholic Secondary School invite suitably qualified, registered, experienced, committed, and God-fearing individuals to apply for teaching positions at its campus in Chikwawa.

POST: SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER (S)

The Secondary School Teacher(s) should be of the following combinations:

Languages (Chichewa and English) and (ii) Sciences (Mathematics and Physics)

QUALIFICATION

Applicants must possess a Degree in Education. Those with a Diploma in Education are encouraged to apply. They must be registered and licensed with the Teachers’ Council of Malawi. St Lawrence is an equal opportunity employer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will be required to carry out the following duties among others.

Planning and preparing for lessons

Delivering lessons

Handling teaching materials

Class management

Inculcating and implementing school culture

Record keeping

Preparing, administering and managing examinations

Participating in extracurricular activities.
