POSITION: PROJECT COORDINATOR (2 POSITIONS)

Position: Project Coordinator (2)
Department: Programs
Grade: D5
Reports to: Program Manager with Dotted lines to the Technical Advisor, Programs
Job Summary: The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities to ensure the timely delivery of project objectives and results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the implementation of project activities in line with approved work plans, budgets, and timelines. • Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information. • Develop and maintain project schedules, activity trackers, and implementation plans. • Monitor progress against project milestones and identify potential delays or bottlenecks. • Coordinate logistics for project activities, including meetings, trainings, workshops, field visits, and stakeholder engagements. • Participate in project design meetings. • Schedule and coordinate project meetings and ensure timely dissemination of meeting materials. • Follow up on action items agreed during meetings and track their completion. • Collect, compile, and verify project implementation data from partners and field teams. • Maintain project documentation, records, and databases to ensure accurate project reporting. • Track project indicators and support monitoring and evaluation activities. • Support district teams with implementation of quality improvement activities. • Document lessons learned, success stories, and best practices from project implementation. • Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Public Health, Project Management, Nursing, or any other health related field. Those with Project Management certificate will have an added advantage. • Minimum 3-5 years of project coordination experience. • Successfully coordinated any SRHR project activities, resulting in high results for the project(s). • Experience with donor-funded programs such as USAID, FCDO, Global Fund, UNFPA, World Bank, KfW, or similar. • Experience in managing partnership including government ministries. • Experience in general project documentation and report writing.
