POSITION: MARKETING AND GRAPHIC DESIGN ASSISTANT
Location: Lilongwe
Reports To: Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or similar tools for high-quality video editing and content creation
Edit engaging short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Skilled in creating professional social media graphics using Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or related tools
Manage and grow PlantCatalyst Africa’s social media presence across digital platforms
Develop and manage content calendars and posting schedules
Create compelling captions, reels, stories, and promotional content aligned with the brand
Monitor social media engagement, analytics, and platform performance metrics
Stay updated with social media trends, viral content styles, and platform updates
Skilled in basic photography and content capture for marketing purposes
Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
Proactive and innovative, constantly seeking creative solutions and improvements
Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent storytelling and content creation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and prioritize effectively
Adaptable to new technologies and fast-paced work environments
Committed to continuous learning and professional growth
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Media, Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field
Proven experience in video editing and social media management
Portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work
Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media trends
Experience managing brand or business social media accounts is an added advantage.
