Grant Thornton in Malawi operating through its Blantyre and Lilongwe offices, provides Assurance, Tax and Advisory services to clients in various industries.

As a result of significant increase in volume of work with the on-going expansion program, the Firm has vacancies that have arisen at Audit Associates level.

Applications are expected to be holders of first degree, preferably Accountancy or Internal Auditing. Past experience is not a prerequisite as they will be expected to undergo rigorous training on the Firm's Methodology among others.

It is expected that the applicants must demonstrate analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills. Applicants must be computer literate and capable of working in Microsoft Office Tools.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Hold a first degree, preferably in Accountancy, Internal Auditing or a related discipline
• Demonstrate strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, work as part of a team and develop a career in professional services
• Be prepared to work in either our Blantyre or Lilongwe office
