Al-Bayaan Foundation and Education Centre is an institution dedicated to academic excellence, leadership development, and character building. We operate a dedicated boys’ boarding primary school in Liwonde catering to pupils from Standard 5 to Standard 8.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, seasoned, and disciplined male leader to serve as the Headteacher of Al-Bayaan Boys Boarding Primary School. The successful candidate will oversee administrative operations, academic standards, student welfare, and school governance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Academic Leadership: Oversee the implementation of the primary school curriculum, ensure high standards of teaching and learning, and track pupil academic performance for Standards 5 through 8.
School Administration: Manage daily school operations, staff performance, school resources, and administrative reporting.
Boarding & Pupil Welfare: Maintain a safe, disciplined, and supportive boarding environment conducive to holistic development.
Staff Management: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching and support staff to maintain high instructional standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, school board members, and community leaders.
Qualifications & Requirements
Gender: Male.
Age Range: 40 to 60 years old.
Professional Background: Retired Headteacher from a recognized, reputable primary school.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of proven leadership experience as a Headteacher.
Faith / Cultural Alignment: Being a practicing Muslim is an added advantage; however, non-Muslim candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Strong organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.
