*ABOUT AGRINET*

Agrinet is a one stop destination for all agricultural consultation services in Malawi. We provide agricultural consultations in agribusiness (business plans and proposals), agronomy, apiculture (beekeeping), horticulture, livestock production, forestry, fisheries and aquaculture, irrigation engineering, land surveying, soil testing, and greenhouse installation services.

*JOB DESCRIPTION*

On behalf of Pakaliba Flex Farms, Agrinet is seeking a dedicated and experienced *Farm Manager* to oversee crops and livestock farm in Salima District. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and effectively managing farm operations in both crops and livestock production.

*KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

- Managing seed production such as groundnuts, maize and sorghum

- Managing livestock production

- Fam staff supervision and training

- Budgeting and financial management

- Keeping farm records

- Equipment and facility management

- Health and safety compliance

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*

- Minimum of Diploma in Agriculture general, Agronomy or related field.

- Knowledge and experience in seed production including groundnuts, maize and sorghum is added advantage.

- Three years of experience in seed production and livestock production

- Marketing skills and ability to operate the farm profitably
