IT OFFICER
ACADES FINANCE (ACAFIN) is a licensed microfinance institution seeking to recruit a qualified, competent, and experienced IT Officer to oversee the management, optimization, and support of our core microfinance system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage our core microfinance system.
- Ensure system security, data integrity, and perform regular backups.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for stability and efficiency.
- Serve as the primary liaison with system vendors and service providers for support and upgrades.
- Train staff on effective system use and provide ongoing technical support.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, user guides, and operational reports.
- Support data analysis and reporting functions to meet business needs.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in IT systems, preferably within microfinance or financial institutions.
- Experience with core banking/microfinance systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of databases, system administration, and IT security.
- Proven experience in system implementation and project coordination.

- Good understanding of microfinance operations
