VACANCY – SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER
PACT Secondary Schools is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of:
Teacher (Full Time)
Location: Blantyre
Closing Date: 1st March 2026
Subject Combination (STRICT REQUIREMENT)
Major: English
Minor: Chichewa
Only candidates with this exact combination will be considered.
Qualifications & Attributes:
• Degree in Education or equivalent
(Diploma holders with 5+ years post-qualification experience may be considered)
• Mature with sound leadership skills
• Result-oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to motivate and manage students
• Disciplined and able to work well with staff
Key Duties:
• Ensure effective lesson delivery
• Supervise students
• Prepare and manage lesson timetables
• Develop schemes and records of work
• Maintain mark records
• Work closely with Heads of Departments
• Serve on relevant school committees
