About the Role:

ACADES is seeking two dedicated Field Officers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for community mobilization, training, and supporting the implementation of financing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Community Mobilization & Farmer Organization: Organize and mobilize community members and farmer groups.

· Training & Mentorship: Facilitate training sessions and provide mentorship to farmers and youth agripreneurs.

· Financing Implementation Support: Assist in the rollout and management of financing programs.

· Data Collection & Reporting: Gather field data and prepare accurate reports.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise and maintain constructive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

· Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to organizational policies and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Minimum: Diploma in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Rural Development, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

· Advantage: A Bachelor's Degree in the specified fields.

· Proven experience working with farmer groups or youth agripreneurs.

· Demonstrated ability to manage field activities, collect data, and produce quality reports.

Core Competencies:

· Strong coordination and project management skills.

· Excellent facilitation, training, and community mobilization abilities.

· Good analytical, reporting, and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with digital data tools is a plus).

· Ability to work independently, travel frequently, and engage constructively with diverse stakeholders.

· Must possess a valid motorbike licence.
