1. Mechanic (2 Positions)

Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term

Department: Workshop

Reporting to: Workshop Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment, commercial trucks, and light vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain heavy earthmoving equipment, trucks, and small vehicles

• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential breakdowns

• Replace faulty components such as bearings, seals, belts, hoses, and filters

• Perform engine overhauling, gearbox, and axle repairs

• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and resolve them

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance according to service schedules

• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation

• Conduct failure assessments and prepare parts lists

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards

• Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns on-site

• Keep tools, equipment, and workshop areas clean and organized

• Perform any other duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Craft or Vocational Certificate in Automobile Mechanics

• 5–7 years experience for Mechanics

• 1–3 years experience for Junior Mechanics

• Fresh graduates may apply for Trainee Mechanic positions

• Strong attention to safety and preventive maintenance practices
