POSITION: HEAD TEACHER

Location: Likuni, Lilongwe

OVERVIEW 

Tendo Private School invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Head Teacher.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in educational leadership in a reputable 

Must be a practicing Christian, active in a local church

Must provide a referral letter from a traceable Church Minister

Must be a self-starter and result oriented individual

Key Responsibilities:

Provide overall leadership and head the school management team

Oversee curriculum implementation and academic performance

Supervise and coordinate all school activities

Develop and implement school plans, budgets, and policies

Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of learners’ progress

Manage staff performance, mentoring, and workload distribution

Maintain school facilities and ensure a safe learning environment

Promote good governance, communication, and public relations

Prepare and present school performance reports to the Board

The successful candidate will report directly to the Board of Governors.
