Malawi Airlines Limited is a partnership company jointly owned by the Malawi Government and Ethiopian Airlines Enterprise. The airline operates regional and domestic flights using B737-700, B737-800, and Q400 aircraft, serving destinations including Johannesburg, Lusaka, Harare, Nairobi, Entebbe, Dar es Salaam, Lilongwe, and Blantyre.

Job Overview

Malawi Airlines is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Junior Scheduler based at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) in Lilongwe.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan short and long-term crew availability to support airline operations

* Develop and implement flight and cabin crew turn patterns for efficient crew utilization

* Release crew name lists and supervise transmission to immigration authorities for flight and general declarations

* Ensure compliance with Malawi Airlines safety and security standards

Qualifications and Experience

* Diploma in Information Technology, Business Administration/Management, or equivalent from a recognized institution

* Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)

* Minimum of 2 years’ work experience

* Candidates with statistics and computer knowledge will have an added advantage

* High level of integrity
