POSITION: LECTURER IN NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (2 POSITIONS)

OVERVIEW

Trinity College of Health Sciences, one of the CHAM colleges situated in the northern part of Nsanje District is inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill the following vacant post:

JOB TITLE: LECTURER IN NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (2 POSITIONS)

GRADE: I

REPORTS TO: HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

Duties and Responsibilities

-Prepare and conduct classroom instruction using a variety of teaching and learning methods e.g innovative methods

-Set, administer and mark examinations and ensure security of exams

-Give feedback to students in time

-Prepare and conduct clinical instruction using a variety of teaching and learning methods

-Mentor students during clinical placements

-Keep up to date with knowledge and skills for effective teaching and learning of students

-Be a role model to other lecturers and nursing students

-Undertake any other duties as the head of faculty may determine to ensure progress and achievement of college goals

REQUIREMENTS

1.Bsc in Nursing and Midwifery /Nursing education/Community Health Nursing

2.Must be registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.

3.Minimum of five years working experience

4.Those with teaching experience will have an added advantage
