VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT @GLOBAL AIDS INTERFAITH ALLIANCE

POSITION: DRIVER (3 POSITIONS)

Location: Nsanje and Mangochi

OVERVIEW

The Global AIDS Interfaith Alliance (GAIA) is a local Non-Governmental Organization established in 2001 and registered in Malawi in 2007. Since 2008, GAIA has partnered with the Ministry of Health and District Councils to bridge gaps in healthcare by improving access to quality health services in hard-to-reach communities through Mobile health clinics (MHC). Additionally, GAIA strengthens human resources for health through the provision of Nursing and Midwifery Scholarship and Midwifery Fellowship.

In 2026, GAIA is expanding into Nsanje District to bring essential primary health care services to hard-to-reach and underserved rural communities. The program’s expansion to Nsanje will reduce transport barriers for rural population living far off the fixed health facility, enhance local capacity and strengthen district partners to establish a robust, well-coordinated system of care for rural communities in the district.
