POSITION: BREWING & PRODUCTION MANAGER

Location: Lilongwe, Malawi

OVERVIEW

Alexanes & Heritage is preparing to establish a manufacturing business in Malawi specializing in traditional Korean beverages and alcoholic drinks. We are seeking a qualified and motivated Brewing & Production Manager to lead the establishment and operation of our production facilities

General Information

Work Location: Lilongwe, Malawi

Employment Conditions

- Salary negotiable based on experience and company regulations.

- Accommodation (dormitory) may be provided.

- Probation period applies (salary remains unchanged during probation).

- The company complies with all applicable Malawian labour laws.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage alcohol production and fermentation processes.

- Oversee the entire production cycle, from raw material intake to final product shipment.

- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.

- Supervise, train, and manage production staff.

- Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

- Basic understanding of fermentation or similar production processes in the food and beverage industry.

- Practical experience in alcoholic beverage, beverage, or food manufacturing environments.

- Knowledge of traditional Korean alcohol production methods.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer documentation.

- Ability to manage production personnel and production schedules.

- Ability to work collaboratively with persons with disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Brewing, Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

- Experience in fermentation processes and Quality Control (QC).

- Experience in microbiological testing or laboratory-based quality control activities.
