REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant subject area

• Proven experience as a Secondary School Teacher

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to inspire and motivate students

• Proficiency in technology and digital learning tools

• Registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning

• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives

• Establish and communicate clear learning objectives

• Provide diverse learning materials and resources for educational activities

• Adapt instructional methods to meet students’ varying needs

• Monitor and evaluate student performance and development

• Maintain accurate student records

• Manage classroom behavior by enforcing rules and procedures

• Participate in extracurricular activities (clubs, sports, student organizations)

• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues

• Stay updated with subject area developments, teaching resources, and methods
