OVERVIEW

Credit Data CRB limted, a leading Malawian Credit Reference Bureau based in Blantyre, is seeking a qualified and experienced Security Officer to join our team and enhance our security operations.

POSITION: SECURITY OFFICER

Reporting To: HEAD OF SECURITY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement bureau’s security/safety policies and conduct daily inspections of premises and equipment.

Monitor assets movement, detect potential losses, investigate hazards/irregularities, and ensure facilities are secured at close of business.

Supervise security guards and reception personnel; drill staff on safety and emergency evacuation protocols.

Coordinate with the Police, emergency services, and external organizations regarding safety issues.

Identify necessary security equipment and ensure all company insurance policies (vehicle, computer, staff) are up to date.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

A relevant professional qualification in Security Management.

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in security operations.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

High level of integrity, vigilance, and physical fitness.

Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem solving skills.

Proficiency in basic computer applications.
