OVERVIEW

Amazing B Projects Limited is a youth-founded and female-led integrated agribusiness,

enterprise development, and technical training institution established in 2016 and the office is in Mitundu, Lilongwe, Malawi. The organization was founded to address

persistent challenges affecting Malawi's agricultural sector, including youth unemployment,

limited access to market-relevant technical and vocational training, low agricultural

productivity, inadequate value addition, climate vulnerability, and weak participation of

women and smallholder farmers in profitable agricultural value chains.

Over the years, Amazing B Projects has evolved into a financially sustainable and impact-

driven enterprise that integrates climate-smart agricultural production, value addition, technical

and vocational education and training (TVET), agribusiness consultancy, business

development services, market systems development, and digital innovation within a single

operational ecosystem.

Its commercial farm serves as a productive enterprise, a living

classroom, and a demonstration centre where learners, farmers, entrepreneurs, and institutions

gain practical skills while supporting sustainable agricultural production.

The organization is currently transitioning into a TEVET-accredited Integrated Business

and Training Institute, delivering competency-based agricultural and business training,

enterprise incubation and acceleration, digital learning through the Amazing B Projects

Digital Academy, value chain development, market linkages, and climate-smart agricultural

solutions. Through this integrated model, Amazing B Projects aims to create sustainable

employment, strengthen food security, increase rural incomes, promote environmental

stewardship, and contribute to inclusive economic growth in Malawi and across the region.

Position Title: Programs Manager

Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Summary

The Programs Manager serves as the principal technical and operational support to the Chief

Executive Officer, providing strategic coordination across all programmes, projects,

partnerships, business development initiatives, and institutional operations.

The position is responsible for ensuring the effective planning, implementation, monitoring,

and continuous improvement of Amazing B Projects' integrated portfolio, including technical

and vocational agricultural training, enterprise development, climate-smart agriculture, value

chain development, digital learning, consultancy services, and special projects.

The Programs Manager also leads the management and continuous improvement of the

organization's digital platforms, including the corporate website, Amazing B Projects Digital

Academy, and e-commerce platform, ensuring these systems strengthen learning delivery,

market access, institutional visibility, and revenue generation.

The role requires a highly organized, innovative, commercially minded, and results-oriented

professional capable of coordinating multidisciplinary teams while supporting executive

decision-making and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Programme Leadership

.

Support the CEO in translating the organization's strategic plan into annual operational

and programme plans.

Coordinate the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of all

programmes and projects.

Ensure programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with donor,

partner, and organizational requirements.

Coordinate programme work plans, budgets, deliverables, and reporting schedules.

Monitor programme performance and recommend strategic improvements.

Facilitate collaboration across all departments to ensure integrated programme

implementation.

Ensure programmes align with the organization's mission, strategic priorities, and

sustainability objectives.

Executive Support to the CEO.

Serve as the CEO's principal coordination and management support by:

Coordinating strategic initiatives and executive priorities.

Following up implementation of management decisions.

Preparing executive briefs, reports, presentations, and meeting documents.

Coordinating internal management meetings.

Monitoring institutional performance against strategic targets.

Supporting high-level stakeholder engagement.

Managing confidential assignments delegated by the CEO.

Representing the CEO during meetings where delegated.

Programme Development and Resource Mobilization

• Identify funding opportunities from governments, development partners, foundations,

impact investors, and the private sector.

Coordinate the development of high-quality concept notes, grant proposals, business

cases, and technical proposals.

Lead proposal development teams.

Develop programme budgets in collaboration with the Finance Department.

Maintain a pipeline of funding opportunities.

Coordinate donor compliance and reporting requirements.

Build strategic partnerships that contribute to organizational growth.

Training and Institutional Development

Support the development and expansion of the Amazing B Projects Technical and Vocational

Agricultural Training Institute by:

Coordinating curriculum implementation.

Supporting TEVET accreditation processes.

Coordinating trainers and facilitators.

Monitoring training quality standards.

Supporting learner registration and certification processes.

Coordinating internships, apprenticeships, industrial attachments, and traineeships.

Strengthening quality assurance systems.

Management of Amazing B Projects Digital Academy

Lead the planning, operation, and continuous improvement of the Amazing B Projects Digital

Academy by:

Managing online learning programmes.

Coordinating digital course development.

Supervising Learning Management System (LMS) administration.

Uploading and organizing digital learning content.

Coordinating online trainers and facilitators.

Monitoring learner participation and completion.

Improving learner experience and digital engagement.

Expanding digital education opportunities across Malawi and beyond.

Website Management.

Oversee the organization's website to ensure it remains professional, informative, and current

by:

Coordinate the organization's online marketplace by:

Managing online product listings.

Coordinating digital sales of agricultural products.

Supporting online training registration and payments.

Monitoring inventory integration.

Coordinating customer inquiries.

Tracking online sales performance.

Developing digital marketing campaigns to increase online revenue.

Digital Communications and Institutional Visibility

Support institutional branding and communication by:

Coordinating digital communication strategies.

Managing institutional newsletters.

Supporting social media campaigns.

Producing programme success stories.

Coordinating photography and multimedia documentation.

Promoting institutional achievements.

Strengthening Amazing B Projects' national and international visibility.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Knowledge Management

Coordinate programme monitoring systems.

Support data collection and analysis.

Track programme indicators and performance.

Coordinate periodic reviews.

Prepare programme reports.

Document lessons learned and best practices.

Support impact reporting.

Contribute to ESG reporting.

Promote evidence-based decision-making.

Partnership and Stakeholder Coordination

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

A minimum of a diploma but preferably a bachelor's degree in one or more of the following

fields: Project Management, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness Management, Business

Administration, Development Studies, Economics, Public Administration, Monitoring and

Evaluation, Education Management, International Development

Professional Experience

Minimum of five years' progressively responsible experience in programme or project

management including farm management.

Experience working with donor-funded programmes.

Experience preparing grant proposals and technical reports.

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Experience managing digital platforms or online learning systems.

Experience in agribusiness, agriculture, TVET, enterprise development, or private

sector development is highly desirable.

Experience working with international development organizations and commercial

farms/agribusinesses will be highly preferably.

A valid professional driver's licence and defensive driver's certificate; Code C1
