POSITION: PART-TIME DENTAL TECHNICIAN

Location: Lilongwe

Tachira Private Clinic is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Part-Time Dental Technician.

Job Summary

The Dental Technician will be responsible for supporting dental services by assisting in the preparation, maintenance, and management of dental equipment and materials, while ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment

Support dental procedures as required

Ensure proper sterilization and infection control practices are followed

Maintain accurate records of dental materials and supplies

Ensure proper storage and handling of dental equipment

Adhere to all Medical Council of Malawi and relevant regulatory guidelines

Qualifications and Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Dental Technology or related field

Must be registered with the relevant regulatory authority

Proven experience in a dental setting will be an added advantage

Good communication and interpersonal skills

High level of professionalism and attention to detail

Working Arrangement

This is a part time position with flexible working days to be agreed upon the proper booking of patients
