POSITION: PRIMARY SCHOOL ( 3 POSITIONS)
Location: Area 27, Mchezi, Kanengo, Lilongwe – Along Salima Road
OVERVIEW
New Life Academy is a Christian institution committed to providing quality, holistic and values-based education. Applications are invited from highly motivated, experienced and passionate Primary School Teachers to fill three (3) teaching positions at our Primary School.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
1. Senior Primary Teacher – Standards 6–8
The successful candidate will teach senior classes (Standards 6–8) and must have strong competence and proven teaching experience, particularly in Mathematics and other relevant subjects.
2. Primary School Teacher – Standards 1–8
A competent and experienced teacher capable of effectively teaching learners across the primary school level.
3. Primary School Teacher – Standards 1–8
A passionate, committed and experienced teacher with the ability to support learners' academic, social and personal development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Applicants must:
Possess a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
Hold a T2 Teaching Certificate from a well-recognised Teachers Training College.
Be registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi (TCM) and provide proof of registration or a TCM Certificate.
Have a minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience.
Have demonstrable competence in teaching primary school learners.
For the Senior Primary position, have strong experience and competence in Mathematics, particularly at Standards 6–8 level.
Be a committed Christian.
Be willing and able to work effectively within a Christian working environment founded on Christian values, principles, discipline and integrity.

Passion for teaching and imparting knowledge and skills to learners.
Ability to organise and participate in extra-curricular activities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Good classroom management and learner-centred teaching skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
High levels of professionalism, commitment, integrity and discipline.
Ability to contribute positively to the school's Christian ethos and values.
