POSITION: SALES & MARKETING OFFICER

Location: Lilongwe, Malawi

OVERVIEW

Smile Life Insurance Company Limited, a reputable Life Insurance provider in Malawi and an equal opportunity employer, invites applications from self-motivated, results-driven, and energetic professionals to fill the position of Sales and Marketing Officer.

Reports to: Business Development Manager

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.

Experience in the insurance industry is strongly preferred.

Proven sales, marketing, or business development experience.

Strong client relationship and communication skills.

Knowledge of insurance products and financial services.

Excellent proposal-writing and presentation skills.

Valid driver's license (mandatory).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and acquire new corporate and individual clients.

Drive corporate sales and business development initiatives.

Manage and grow existing client relationships.

Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations.

Conduct market research and provide market intelligence.

Support marketing, advertising, and promotional activities.

Coordinate with media and advertising partners.

Conduct customer care and sales training workshops.

Prepare monthly and quarterly sales and marketing reports.

Support brand, media relations, and communications activities.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
