TEACHING VACANCY

INSTRUCTOR : FOOD PRODUCTION (GRADE STC I)

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Teaching Food Production subjects.
• Preparing schemes of work and lesson notes.
• Ordering and organizing teaching and learning materials for both theory and practical lessons.
• Ensuring discipline among students and providing counselling.
• Maintaining class registers and student progress reports and records.
• Assisting in curriculum development and design.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES OF APPLICANTS:

• Bachelors' Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or Nutrition.
• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Applicants with 2 years teaching experience and knowledge of City and Guilds Syllabus will have an added advantage.
• Not more than 40 years of age.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

The successful candidate will be on probation before being offered a two-year renewable contract and he or she should be ready to start as soon as possible.
