POSITION: DIGITAL LOAN OFFICER

Location: Blantyre

OVERVIEW

Swift Digital Finance Ltd is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Digital Loan Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring the end-to-end digital loan process, loan performance and related technical operations.

Job Type: Internship (6 months)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related IT field.

Experience in digital lending, fintech, banking or financial systems is an advantage.

Understanding of digital lending processes, APIs and system integrations.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor loans from application, approval and disbursement through repayment and closure.

Track loan performance, repayments, overdue loans and defaults.

Monitor the digital lending platform, APIs and integrations with MNOs, payment platforms and CRBs.

Identify and follow up on failed transactions, system issues and loan processing exceptions.

Work with IT, Finance, Collections and vendors to resolve operational and technical issues.

Support system testing, UAT and digital lending enhancements.

Prepare regular loan performance and system issue reports.

KEY KPIs

Loan processing and disbursement success rate.

Repayment and overdue loan performance.

System/API availability.

Failed transaction rate.

Issue resolution time.
