POSITION: ACCOUNTANT

ACCOUNTANT (FULL-TIME)

Reporting to: Management

Location: Santhe, Kasungu

Type of Contract: Full-Time

Overall Role

The Accountant will manage the company's financial records, budgeting, reporting, and financial compliance while supporting sound business decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare financial statements and management reports.

- Manage budgets, cash flow, and financial records.

- Process payments and maintain accounting systems.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements.

- Prepare payroll and reconcile bank accounts.

- Support procurement and inventory control.

- Assist management with financial planning and analysis.

- Ability to create educational video content is an added advantage

- Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical and organizational skills.

- High level of integrity and professionalism.

- Must be committed, hardworking, and willing to grow with a startup company.
