Position: Drivers
Company: Afro Egypt Engineering Company (AFRO)
Location: Mangochi, Lower Shire and Rumphi, Malawi
Qualifications:
- MSCE or its equivalent
- Valid Class C1 driving license
- Certificate in defensive driving (an added advantage)
- Proven ability to drive 4x4 vehicles
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- At least 2 years driving experience
- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and local routes
- Physically fit and of sober habits
- Ready to work under pressure and during odd hours
- Honest, reliable and responsible
- Good time management
- Ability to read and write basic English
- Customer service oriented
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance (an added advantage)
Duties:
- Safely transport company staff and goods to various locations
- Maintain and regularly check vehicle condition
- Keep accurate logbooks of trips
- Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations
- Report any accidents, traffic violations or incidents promptly
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and well maintained
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of goods
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the supervisor
