Lusubilo Community Care

Lusubilo Community Care, a Catholic-based organisation committed to improving the well-being of orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs), vulnerable families and communities in Malawi, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Malawians for the following positions:


TEMPORARY ENUMERATORS – TALENT POOL

Employment Type: Temporary / Need-Based Assignments

Duty Station: Various locations within Lusubilo Community Care's areas of operation in Malawi.

Lusubilo Community Care is establishing a Talent Pool of Temporary Enumerators to support upcoming research, assessments, monitoring exercises, surveys, programme evaluations, baselines, endline studies and other data collection activities.

Please note: Inclusion in the talent pool does not constitute a guarantee of employment or assignment.


Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates may be required to:

Conduct household and community surveys.

Collect quantitative and qualitative data, including through FGDs and KIIs.

Use digital data collection platforms such as KoboToolbox/KoboCollect, CommCare and ODK, or paper-based tools.

Obtain informed consent and maintain confidentiality.

Synchronise and submit collected data within set timelines.

Participate in training, pre-testing and field piloting.

Report field and technical challenges promptly.

Adhere to research, safeguarding and data protection procedures.


Minimum Qualifications

A degree in a relevant field such as Development Studies, Social Sciences, Community Development, Public Health, Agriculture, Education, Monitoring & Evaluation, Information Technology, or a related field.

Previous experience in data collection is an added advantage.

Good communication and listening skills.

Proficiency in English and Chichewa; knowledge of additional local languages is an added advantage.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
