POSITION: PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
Location: Area 49, Shire, Lilongwe

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review prescriptions for accuracy.
Monitor stock levels and expiry dates.
Order and restock medicines and supplies.
Guide patients on medication use, dosage, and side effects.
Follow pharmacy regulations and patient privacy policies.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe pharmacy.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or equivalent; Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an advantage.
Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional standards.
Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmaceutical products.
Valid registration with the Malawi Pharmacy and Medicines Regulatory Authority (formerly the Malawi Pharmacy, Medicines and Poisons Board).
