Position Overview

The Senior Lecturer will teach and support students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration programme. The role also involves academic leadership, research, curriculum development and mentorship.

Minimum Qualifications

• PhD in Business Administration or a related field.

Experience

• At least eight years' teaching and research experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality, interactive online course content through the university's Learning Management System (LMS).
• Deliver asynchronous lectures, facilitate virtual seminars and lead live online discussions.
• Set, administer and mark assignments, tests and examinations, providing constructive and timely feedback.
• Conduct virtual consultation sessions and provide academic advice and mentorship.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, dissertations and capstone work online.
• Conduct academic research, publish in reputable journals and pursue external research grants and resource mobilisation opportunities.
• Facilitate virtual learning activities, case studies and practicums relevant to the programme.
• Build links with industry, churches, government and professional bodies.
• Mentor Lecturers, review assessment rubrics and participate in departmental and online academic governance activities.
• Provide academic leadership for the programme and lead curriculum reviews.
