FARM MANAGER

Agrinet is seeking a qualified and experienced Farm Manager to oversee mixed farm production at Njiri Farms in Lilongwe. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated agricultural professional to manage and grow farm operations effectively.

Agrinet is a leading agricultural consultancy firm in Malawi providing services in agronomy, agribusiness, livestock production, horticulture, irrigation, aquaculture, greenhouse installation, soil testing, farm design, and more.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and develop farm operation plans and gross margin analyses
• Manage daily farm operations and ensure productivity targets are met
• Monitor farm performance and maintain accurate farm records
• Develop and manage farm budgets to control costs and maximize profits
• Make strategic decisions to improve farm productivity and sustainability
• Identify markets for farm produce and negotiate with buyers
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
• Diploma in Agriculture or related field from a recognized institution
• Minimum of 3 years farming experience
• Practical knowledge in maize, rice, tomato, and mushroom production
• Strong farm management and marketing skills
• Ability to manage farm operations profitably
