AGRICULTURE FIELD OFFICER (2 Positions)

📍 Locations:
- Jalawe, Rumphi (Community Transformation Project)
- Mwamkumbwa, Chitipa (Integrated Rural Development Project)
- 📝 Reports to: Project Coordinator
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and training to farmers (crop & livestock production)
- Promote climate-smart and sustainable agriculture practices
- Conduct field monitoring, data collection, and reporting
- Support distribution of farm inputs (seeds, fertilizers, etc.)
- Work with farmer groups, cooperatives, local leaders, and stakeholders
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports
🔹 Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Agricultural Extension, or related field
- Strong knowledge of crop and livestock systems
- Ability to work independently in rural areas
- Good communication, training, and data collection skills
- Experience with NGOs/community projects (added advantage)
- Knowledge of climate-smart agriculture & basic MS Office
