Strategic Channels Manager
Telekom Networks Malawi Plc (TNM) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following positions in the Sales & Distribution Division.
Strategic Channels Manager
Location: Lilongwe
Contract: Permanent
Reporting to: Sales & Distribution Director
Job Summary
Lead and manage strategic national channel outlets including chain stores and financial institutions to drive subscriber growth, mobile money adoption, broadband sales, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive new subscriber acquisitions across strategic channels.
• Increase recharge frequency and ARPU across partner outlets.
• Grow Mpamba active wallets, float levels, and agent activity rates.
• Achieve Home Broadband (HBB) sales targets and improve installation completion rates.
• Expand merchant payment acceptance points and grow monthly transaction value.
• Ensure KYC/AML compliance and accurate channel data.
• Maintain high product visibility, promoter productivity, and outlet compliance.
Requirements
✔ 3–5 years experience in channel management, distribution, or key account management (Telecom, FMCG, or Fintech).
✔ Proven experience managing national retail chains or financial institutions.
✔ Strong understanding of mobile money, broadband sales, and payment systems.
✔ Advanced Excel / Business Intelligence data analysis skills.
✔ Strong financial and commercial acumen.
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Economics, or related field
✔ MBA is an added advantage
