POSITION: MINES SUPERVISOR

We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following position: –

MINES – MANGOCHI

Job Title: Mines Supervisor

Job Description:

Planning daily works and supervising staff & machines.

Key responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily mining activities (drilling, blasting, hauling, and excavation)

Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Monitor production targets and implement strategies to improve productivity

Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments

Lead, train, and motivate mining crew members

Ensure proper use and maintenance of mining equipment

Report operational progress, incidents, and challenges to management

Coordinate with engineers, geologists, and other departments

Enforce company policies and standard operating procedures

Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Mining Engineering or a related field

Valid blasting licence

Proven experience in mining operations

Previous supervisory or leadership experience

Strong knowledge of mining methods and equipment

Understanding of safety standards and mining regulations

Good communication and leadership skills

Ability to work in remote and physically demanding environments

Minimum of 5 years experience.
