POSITION: PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Overview

Ebenezer Institute for Learning is seeking passionate, dedicated, and qualified Primary School Teachers to join its team. The institution is committed to delivering quality education while upholding strong Christian values and creating a supportive learning environment.

Role Purpose

To deliver effective teaching, support learners’ academic and personal development, and contribute to a structured and positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and records in line with the Primary School Curriculum

• Deliver lessons using age-appropriate and engaging teaching methods

• Develop and use teaching aids such as charts, models, books, and digital tools

• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline

• Assess and evaluate learners through classwork, tests, and examinations

• Maintain accurate learner records and report progress to parents/guardians

• Support learners with diverse needs using inclusive and remedial strategies

• Promote literacy and numeracy development

• Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and participation

• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians

• Participate in school activities, meetings, and co-curricular programs

• Ensure learners maintain proper hygiene and dress code

• Prepare reports and submit them on time

• Stay updated with curriculum changes and policies

• Uphold professional ethics and Christian values

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must possess a T2 Certificate

• Diploma in Primary Education is an added advantage

• Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in a reputable institution

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Honest, passionate, and committed to teaching children

• Must be a practicing Christian
